This is also another of my favorite pictures, and also taken on a geology trip, just taken in spring of 2005.
This is in an ancient lava tube on the way back from Death Valley, though much closer to home.

A friend kicked up dirt in order to help me and another geology major get the perfect shot of the sky light. I think I got lucky with the low light because mine came out her didn't. This has been a wallpaper for at least 5 of my friends.

Nice!

Looks like it should be in a motivational poster, or something.
I thought this was a painting at first!
WOW. Very nice capture. I'm quite jealous.

Yeah, I make something along those lines with this at some point.

When I showed my friends from geology they fell in love with it and made me email it to them, they had decided it was going to be their wallpaper for a long time, hehe.
This is absolutely beautiful! I now have it set to my wallpaper/desktop. It is very inspiring. Usually I have something on there from Richard or Jen, but wow! How cool that is!

I know so many talented peoples!

Wow this is amaizing, I love the lighting, the beam of light is so perfect. I was just in Hawaii and explored a lot of lava tubes while there, It was also for a geology trip.

Thanks, this was taken out in Southern California near Zyzzx. It's one that I am very proud of.
